Rotary Centennial Pavilion

The Start

The three Penticton Rotary presidents John Hickling, Doug Lawrie and Eric Wood with Mayor Dave Perry and Area 5 Assistant Governor Lloyd Higgs announcing the construction of the Rotary Centennial Pavilion to be competed in the summer of 2005.

The Sign

The project had a false start in 2005 and was moved from Okanagan Lake to Skaha Lake and completed in 2006.

Under Construction

March 4, 2006 and the roof is about to go on.

Grand Opening

May 17, 2006. The Centenial Pavillion was project of the three Rotary Clubs of Penticton and the City of Penticton.

Planting of the Linden Tree

Dedicated to Doug Stuart, a former Mayor of Penticton and a Rotarian. Some of his ashes have been planted here, with the tree.
